1) Requests coin deposits for calls.
2) Calculates and quotes charges on long-distance connections.
3) Gives information regarding subscribers' telephone numbers.
4) Observes signal light on switchboard, plugs cords into trunk-jack, and dials or presses button to make connections.
5) Consults charts to determine charges for pay-telephone calls.
6) Inserts tickets in calculagraph (time-stamping device) to record time of toll calls.
