Job Duties and Tasks for: "Film Laboratory Technician"

1) Computes amount of light intensity needed to compensate for density of film, using standardized formulas.

2) Examines developed film strip to determine optimal exposure time and light intensity required for printing.

3) Exposes film strip to progressively timed lights to compare effects of various exposure times.

4) Reads gauges on sensitometer to determine film's sensitivity to light.

5) Threads film strip through sensitometer and exposes film to light.

6) Records test data and routes film to film developer and film printer for further processing.
