Job Duties and Tasks for: "Construction Driller"

1) Operates machine to flush earth cuttings, or blows dust from hole.

2) Assembles and positions machine, augers, and casing pipes.

 

3) Verifies depth and level of boring position.

4) Retracts auger to force discharge dirt from hole.

5) Starts, stops, and controls drilling speed of machine and insertion of casing into hole.

6) Signals crane operator to move equipment.

7) Drives truck or tractor to work site.

8) Operates hoist to lift power line poles into position.
