Job Duties and Tasks for: "Investment Underwriter"

1) Prepare all materials for transactions or execution of deals.

2) Create client presentations of plan details.

3) Intermediate between corporate issuers of new securities and the general public.

4) Perform securities valuation or pricing.

5) Confer with clients to restructure debt, refinance debt, or raise new debt.

6) Structure or negotiate deals, such as corporate mergers, sales, or acquisitions.

7) Develop and maintain client relationships.

8) Advise clients on aspects of capitalization, such as amounts, sources, or timing.

9) Structure marketing campaigns to find buyers for new securities.

 

 

11) Assess companies as investments for clients by examining company facilities.

12) Determine desirability of deals to develop solutions to financial problems or to assess the financial and capital impact of transactions, using financial modeling.

13) Evaluate capital needs of clients and assess market conditions to inform structuring of financial packages.

14) Coordinate due diligence processes and the negotiation or execution of purchase or sale agreements.

15) Collaborate on projects with other professionals, such as lawyers, accountants, or public relations experts.

16) Analyze financial or operational performance of companies facing financial difficulties to identify or recommend remedies.

17) Arrange financing of deals from sources such as financial institutions, agencies, or public or private companies.

18) Arrange deals involving green investments in areas such as alternative energy product development, green technologies, or sustainable agriculture.

19) Specialize in green financial instruments, such as socially responsible mutual funds or exchange-traded funds (ETF) that are comprised of green companies.
